Terms of service

By using HyperLocal websites or apps, you agree to these terms. HyperLocal is a marketplace connecting customers with independent shops and delivery partners.

Our role

We facilitate orders and payments; products are sold by listed shops. We are not the seller of goods except where explicitly stated. For pharmacy items, shops are licensed sellers of OTC products only.

Orders & cancellation

• Customers may cancel an order only while status is "placed" (before shop acceptance).
• After acceptance, contact support for assistance; refunds follow our refund policy.
• Minimum order and delivery fees are shown at checkout (default ₹79 / ₹30 unless shop-specific rates apply).

Delivery

Delivery may be fulfilled by platform riders or shop staff depending on shop settings. Delivery requires customer OTP and photo proof as implemented in the app.

Payments

Online payments are processed by licensed payment partners. COD orders must be paid in cash to the delivery agent unless otherwise specified.

Shop partners

Shops agree to accurate catalogues, lawful products, and timely order handling. Commission and settlement terms are in the separate shop agreement.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, HyperLocal is not liable for indirect damages. Our liability for any claim is limited to the order value in dispute.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Karnataka shall have jurisdiction.
